An anthropologist by training, I have been living, working and traveling in the Mekong region - Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Viet Nam - for more than half my life now. Seeing so much change over the years I am keen to try and capture some kind of record of the life of the region.

I started off living in the countryside, but like many other people here, I now find myself in the big city, living in Bangkok. As chance would have it, I am now living in the same neighborhood where I first stayed (briefly) 25 years ago. The pace of change here is startling. I am now trying to capture something of the old neighborhood - the people, shops, markets, and even farms -before it disappears under condos and shopping malls. I have also had the chance to travel and work in India - and do expect to have more time in South Asia over the coming years.

My photographs have been used in a number of NGO communication materials, reports and publications

I am delighted that my photograph of Buddhist prayer is displayed at the Musée des Religions du Monde (Museum of World’s Religions) in Nicolet, Québec (Canada) - www.museedesreligions.qc.ca/home

Over the last year Olivier Duong from Inspired Eye has published two articles - an Interview, and a documentary series on the Phra Khanong District of Bangkok.
