Gonzalo è un fotografo completo, il suo sguardo spazia dal paesaggio attraverso il ritratto sino alla street con estrema disinvoltura. Inoltre è un perfezionista: il suo "occhio fotografico" va alla ricerca del particolare e, quando lo trova, lo racchiude in uno scatto in bianco e nero dal contrasto perfetto. Non disdegna assolutamente il colore ma la sua tecnica in bianco e nero è, a mio avviso, estremamente affascinante e ricca di sfumature. Per questi motivi sono orgogliosa di averlo tra i miei amici, c'è sempre qualcosa da imparare da un'artista.

Ruud Rook on Gonzalo Cisterna Sandoval: ...in one of my comments added to one of Gonzalo's photos,I called him a master in black and white photography : this is just particially the case : his subjects are the ones others usually don't notice as they pass in ignorance. It is Gonzalo's gift to have an eye for the 'forgotten'and giving it his personal,artistic twist to it : in contrast,angle,unexpected perspective. And let us not forget his colour-works: to Gonzalo a sky is not just a sky,he turns it into something more magical then it already is. Gonzalo Cisterna is showing us what we miss,he makes us hold for a moment,adding his signature to what we take for granted ,in a mystycal,hypnotical,surreal,but most of all inviting way. May we share and become aware of his ever expanding world for a long,long time to come!
