I'm Alexandra, but my friends call me Ale

I live in wonderful rainy Portland, Oregon with my husband Ben, our daughter Willow and our furry companions.

 

In my professional life I'm a Chef & Baker,a former Fromager/Cheese Monger. I'm especially passionate about Culinary History, and the sociological aspects of food.

I recently left the culinary world to become a SAHM, fell in love with quilting and fiber arts. I'm now the programs coordinator for the Portland Modern Quilt Guild.
