I have been taking photos since around 1970. I can't say I have mastered any facet of photography in all that time. After switching mostly to digital in the early 2000s, I find that I still get enjoyment from my film shots so I have been spending time most days scanning my negatives. This gives me another shot to make better prints.

I take pictures mostly to please myself. If others get enjoyment from them, that's a bonus. Now that I am retired from the working world, I can spend more time here. There is also the incentive to use Flickr instead of other sharing sites since Lightroom can still publish here, unlike some others!
