I have been moving my work into the digital manipulation sphere recently, all my latest posts have been created using a multitude of computer based techniques to craft the images. Leaning on my practical photography experience to craft each picture from conception through to the final output, balancing composition and light and shadow to get the mood I'm after, trying to get movement and emotion in each frame you see before you.
I am using the Stable Diffusion Ai release which I have installed locally on my computer and bounce between Invoke AI, Auto1111 and ComfyUI as my UI allowing me complete control over my output. Working this way, using text based prompts, I am able to generate a subject to my liking, I fine-tune it many times through in-painting and/or out-painting, adding or removing elements I don't want. The image is then sent into PhotoShop for further adjustments using the many tools at our disposal in that software. Depending on the image I am creating this process can vary but I always use luminosity layer masks, and I utilise the power of liquify, dodge, burn, blur, and noise as my main go to tools, if need be I will also composite different elements from other generated images to build the scene I want.
I also will use the Nik Collection to add that little extra something with their excellent filter set if the image feels it could benefit from it.
That said, I will also continue to post Photographs taken in my preferred style of ICM or Intentional Camera Movement as well, almost always presented in black and white.

John is an an amazing guy with what ever he does whether it be at his profession, behind his camera or in front of his Mac Book :) apart from his profession and hobbies John has a sensational family that is his true No 1 priority. His photography is always well though out and crafted in the end result to those thoughts, he has an creative eye for things that a lot of other photographers would pass on by and a passion to create that photo to perfection . The end result of John's photography is a combination of hunting it, photographing it, editing it and the results speak for them self. His photos take you by your lapels, shake you till you are wide awake and ask you "Do you like what you see?". I do While his photos go for the striking, his comments go for the mellow, 'come let me hold your hand and help you cross the chasm' feel. You know what I mean? They are - friendly. Goldmanoz is an awesome Aussie, and nobody can say different..
