Hi! My name is Jen, and when people ask me what I shoot, I tell them: "Birds and battlefields." That pretty much sums up what I do, although you'll find other wildlife and some travel photography here as well. When I'm not tucked behind a Nikon (usually with a very long lens attached), you will usually find me either at my job as an attorney or engaging in one of my other hobbies; I have written two historical fiction novels and also enjoy reading and hiking.

Using my work. My photos have been featured by a variety of organizations, including the American Battlefield Trust, the National Park Service, the Cleveland Metroparks, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Nearly all my work on Flickr is Creative Commons licensed as free for non-commercial use with proper credit; please attribute photographs to "Jen Goellnitz." I also regularly license photographs for commercial uses, sometimes for pay, sometimes for free. It all really just depends on how the photograph is going to be used.
