I love to sew! craft! create! cook!

I am a former SAHM who just returned to teaching full time after being home with the kids for 10 years - this has been quite an adjustment but I have loved every minute of the new challenges.

I have been sewing for about 30 years! I sell children's clothing under the name gock's frocks - on etsy and in local shows when I have a free minute.

I have just ventured into the quilting arena - the lure of the Modern Quilting movement has encouraged me to give it a try.

I love fresh bright modern fabrics, especially Freespirit, Michael Miller, Japanese imports and a few of the newer fabric designers.... I am currently in love with TEXT prints and also love Suzuko Koseki &Kokka fabrics.... bright, fresh and fun is my style!

I really want to try the NY Beauty blocks and would love to learn more about paper piecing.
