If you are already reading Gustaf's testimonials, you have probably already noticed that there is something very special and different about his photostream. Every individual image is constructed from so many moving parts that I am amazed. The time they must take would be enough alone to overwhelm most of us. It isn't just a workaholic obsession though. The absolute love he has for what he is doing shines through in his work. His sense of humor is very gentle and his attitude extremely kind. He is consistently uplifting and supportive with his comments. I am amazed at the cast of characters he has built up. I hope he would not mind a gentle suggestion. It would not be too generous to say that if these images and their accompanying tales are not already bound for publication as a classic children's book,then why not? I smell a Caldecott or Newberry Medal winner just waiting to be discovered outside of Flickr. When that happens, I will happily say "I called him 'my friend' way before all of this.

It is like when we watch a TV series, we fall in love with its characters and wait for the next chapter, with anxiety. Your photographs are a kind of scenes from everyday life, but with the wonderful humor that is already a personal stamp. A style that astonishes, the use of the places, the preparation of the staging. There should be a way to create a virtual stall, to sit and watch, as you start to create your work, and then, it becomes that, always surprising final image. Photography leaves a space where the observer can submit the image to his imagination. But in your case you give us everything ready, your elaboration is so perfect, your ingenuity, but above all your great sense of humor. Without a doubt, you are an intelligent person, because having the power to see life in that way is only allowed to those who profess a style, or rather a concept, a perception of what surrounds us. Where one sees the darkness you see light. It is a great contribution to our artistic world, which undoubtedly transcends, as a phenomenon, for the unusual.
