I've started out thinking of my Flickr pages as a place for me and my friends to hang out; for now, friends who are partly held together by a fascination with all things automotive.

It's not yet a place for general vacation photos, snapshots of family, or pets, although, heaven knows I have enough of those.

My friends and I might be at work, and want to take a break, or at home, feeling nostalgic... This can be a place to spend, or waste, some time, hopefully feeling really good!

I'm uploading a much wider range of material than I thought I would at first. It was going to be a place to share photos of my recent handiwork, but I've realised that Flickr can be like a memory bank for a much deeper range of images. So some of my images, original or borrowed, can help to retrieve buried memories, as they have for me, and other images can be like an archive resource of hard-to-find material.
