I had a knack for photography all life long (and I guess I was influenced by my father there), but only got a real camera in late 2011 when I bought a PEN E-P3, and a lens or two. I had only taken pictures with point-and-shoots and smartphones before that.

Then I dug through tons of books from David DuChemin, Michael Freeman and Ansel Adams, the photography science primer of Charles S. Johnson Jr. (and then a few others, too) and tried to learn a bit of theory. And then I started shooting, and shooting, and am looking forward to what exciting things this awesome journey into photography will continue to hold for me.
