Patrick Smith is an airline pilot, freelance writer, retired punk rocker and occasional world traveler. He lives in Somerville, Massachusetts, USA.

Patrick is the author of Salon.com's popular ASK THE PILOT air travel column. His book of the same name was Amazon's "Best Travel Book of 2004."
