The Gleaning Project in Port Angeles and Sequim, Clallam County, WA, organizes groups of volunteers to visit local farms, gardens, and orchards to "glean" or harvest surplus produce that would otherwise not be used. Volunteers take some produce home and the rest is donated to local Food Banks, meal programs, and shelters.
