I've been in the U.S. for the past 5 years - I was born in Buenos Aires and grew up in São Paulo.

  

The photo below was awarded with an honorable mention by the Memphis Camera Club for the 2008 year-end competition.

 

   

This girl appeared in front of me at a dangerous neighborhood in the Dominican Republic, where I wasn't even supposed to be carrying a camera. I'm glad I had the camera ready and out of the bag!
