I love Vancouver and all the people here. Growing up here in the late 1960s and 70s was often spent outdoors around Oakridge, Riley Park, Kensington, and especially John Oliver the same school my mother and grandmother attended. I recall visiting family farms in Richmond/Delta and stories from my grandparents and great grandmother of family farms in South Vancouver near Marpole. One of my favourite things about Vancouver is all the varied cultures people brought with them when they immigrated to Canada and those of the indigenous peoples already here, and all love to share. Families from different sides of our planet often became neighbours and lifelong friends. Peace and love.
