Born in Montreal and moving to Toronto at a young age, Toronto soon became home. Studying geology after high school, I drifted into photography and took some courses for the technical training, but kept the artistic growth to develop on my own. When first showing my portfolio, I was immediately hired by a studio to do weddings/events and through them learnt the photography style of that age. In the 80's I started in the world of film and the darkroom and still appreciate the unique qualities of various film formats, which I later combined with modern digital tools.

Today I specialize in photographing men, their passions, their loves, their world. I would describe my work as both soft and sensual, without the sterility of the studio. I enjoy the challenge of photographing my subjects in the outdoors or their private places, capturing their personality in an image special to them.
