I had the pleasure of meeting Helmut when I travelled to Tuscany recently. Helmut is a great guy. He was kindness itself to me during the two weeks that I spent there, taking the time to show me his favourite places for landscape photography and giving me good advice on where to go at different times of day in order to get the best light. His generosity with his time and expertise knew no bounds. Having seen Helmut's landscape photos on his own PC, I can tell you that his work is awesome! He has so many great photos that are not posted on Flickr, and I feel priviliged to have seen them. Helmut, you are the master of Tuscan landscape photography. Your sensitivity to colour in the landscape was something I had not seen before. It is one of the things that makes your photographic style unique.
