Here at GipsonWands we believe in "Green" wand making.

This means using locally harvested woods or wood that has be saved from ending up in landfills.

The locally sourced wood has been taken for the betterment of the forest or harvested from limbs or trees that have fallen. These woods are then naturally dried for months before wand making takes place. This means that these woods haven’t been shipped from overseas, or put in a Kiln and had chemicals sprayed on them to make it dry faster.

Our wand-maker, Scott Gipson, is a trained artist with a degree in fine art. He is an all around craftsman, usually to be found with tools in hand, has been working with wood since he was a child, and has been making custom wands for years.
