A novice, enthusiastic photographer interested in ways to work with light and dark and how photography can enhance observation and appreciation of surroundings.

I take a lot of my pics while walking around my neighbourhood which is still diverse, quirky and wonderful despite the rapid change and development that looms...

I take inspiration from photographers such as Freeman Patterson (Photography and the Art of Seeing) and have been recently inspired by my friend Richard from Quebec and Sandra from Brazil. Richard led me to Miksang and Sandra to discover Henri Cartier Bresson. Fred Herzog's photos of Vancouver from the 50s through the 70s have been my latest inspiration.

I'm loving exploring what my peers around the world are doing and what they see every day.
