UPDATE! I've been so busy living happily ever after that I haven't been on flickr much lately. Life goes on. Still happily married. Kids are grown. Three of the four cats are still ticking along at age 16. Life is good.
********************************************
I joined Flickr because I loved the artwork that I saw people producing. I wanted to fill my life with creativity and make every day an expression of my inner soul. Soon afterward, I found the 365 Days project. That changed my life. Forever.
I found that I'm okay. That everyone else is pretty much like me down inside and that I don't have some fatal flaw of horribleness. I found that I can express many sides of myself and still be me. I can be silly, sexy, wild, sad, angry, lazy a still be yet another person tomorrow.
But the best thing I found on Flickr was the love of my life. I wasn't looking. But I saw his pictures on 365 and was intrigued. We started emailing. Then chatting, then talking on the phone. We met in person on August 11, 2007 and found that this love we felt was indeed very real, very wonderful, and very permanent.
My love immigrated from England and we live a boring little life of pure happiness. We got married and are living happily ever after. Yes, fairy tales really do come true.
As for the standard bio information, well, let's see. I'm in the mothering stage of life and share the phone and bandwidth with three kids aged 19, 17, and 13. They're good kids and they make us laugh a lot. We're the dorky family that holds up the school line because the kids are still talking to me and making me laugh as push them out of the car in the mornings. We have four ridiculous cats. We do a lot of things because we want to.
Starting in May 2010, we got bitten by the outdoors bug. We've spent every spare minute camping and hiking and kayaking, much to the kids' dismay. We have big goals and are going to be the embarrassing old people going to all the local backpacking events. Luckily we live where there are hundreds of miles of trails and tens of thousands of acres of wilderness to explore. And we aim to do it.

I love looking at Ginger's photo's as they are always true to life, she doesn't hide anything which I admire. I would love to meet her in real life too, she was the one that inspired me to start the 365 days project and I'm grateful for that too. I feel I'm glad to be a part of her life in some way even if it is through the world of flickr. I look forward to seeing more of her photo's and hope all her dreams come true. xx
