I live in Scotland, I am married and I love animals!

Only in the last year or so have I started taking photography more seriously Up until recently I just really took pictures as record shots and occassionally came out with a good one! I have used various Fuji bridge cameras and really did like them.

Anyway I decided last year when I wanted to upgrade my camera to go for something a bit more challenging so went for my first DSLR - a canon 450D, I also joined Inverclyde Camera Club.

I am working on improving my photographs by paying more attention to exposure, composition, sharpness, choice of aperture, shutter speed........... in the hope of taking better pictures.

I am so thankful to flickr because i appreciate the comments I get from other photographers and I get inspiration from the many fantastic images on here too
