Conosco Gianni da poco più di un anno, e lo considero una persona splendida ed empatica, molto attenta all'altro. E questo si riflette molto bene nei suoi scatti. I suoi nudi non sono solo belli esteticamente, ma esprimono qualcosa di più: un lavoro che c'è dietro nel mettere la persona a suo agio e a trasmettergli la possibilità di scoprirsi bello, al di là dei cliché estetici imposti dai media e spesso dai canoni proposti dalla stessa comunità LGBT. E questa "magia", come la chiamo io, questo valorizzare chi spesso non si considera valorizzabile, per me è impagabile! È quel qualcosa in più che rende le sue foto davvero interessanti, e che mi spinge a "stare" nella foto per più di un attimo e a superare il livello estetico per arrivare a quello significante. E poi ci sono gli scatti non di nudo, quelli di "fiorifruttaecittà" che normalmente hanno poche visualizzazioni e pochi commenti (rispetto alle altre). Gianni ha un altissimo occhio estetico, una cura per l'inquadratura e un forse senso dell'ironia (e negli autoritratti, di forte autoironia!) che trovo sempre molto apprezzabili. Sono questi gli scatti che in realtà parlano più di lui e della sua ferialità. E chi come me ha avuto il privilegio di conoscerlo di persona ed ha avuto il permesso di entrare in punta di piedi in una parte della sua vita, sa di cosa sto parlando.

I have been on a downer about my body, weight etc recently. I'm not ashamed of my body but don't always like it. Today I went through my naked flickr pictures and only just realized how many comments there were on some of them. The highest acolade were the coment left by GianOrso he photographs such lovely, georgous guys. He shows all the time that bigger can be beautiful. For him to comment that pictures of my body , either alone or with other guys were sexy or cute have blown me away. I could have just sent him a private message to say thanks, but I thought by saying it publicly it would convey just how gratful I am for his kind words. Can I also dare to say if worthy I'm a very willing model.

Hier beweist GianOrso handwerkliches Geschick und sicherlich eine jahrelange Erfahrung, gepaart mit der großen Leidenschaft für diese Kerle. Es macht seit Jahen Spaß, seine Fotoarbeiten zu bewundern....und ich konnte viel daraus lernen.

Gianni and I have met ' Virtually " As he mentioned even before Flickr site was started. We've been admiring each other's work. I've known his impeccable work from SBQR. I am so honored to be even given such a great compliment from sucn a great photographer like him. His work is always classy yet very sensual with big men without being in your face. I alway learn so many technique from him. Also his framing of architectual obejct and scenery is really outstanding with color against very artistic black and white work with larger hot and sexy bear models. He is not only great photographer and very attractive bear but great supporter and great friend of mine. I am really lucky to have such a friend like him in my life and I am looking forward to meet him and his handsome partner in person possibly in near future.
