Sometimes our world may look another world if we see it through other eyes!

I got my first camera, an Olympus OM10, at 1981. I love looking for images in everyday life. I learn something new about photography everyday. I like looking at other peoples images. Seeing other's creativity in action is inspiring.

I use Flickr as a visual diary. You will find a little bit of everything in my stream. I have several evolving themes here.

I've been practicing photography as a hobby too for 26 years and as you can see in my photostream, I don't have a developed technique, shot whatever that is pleasing to my eyes and also like to experiment different things. I like to use photography as a way to express visions or places in my imagination.

I share the same opinion by Michel Tcherevkoff who says: "I use photography to create my own visuals. I don't record reality. I record what's in my mind, based upon what's out there. I have no problem pushing the envelope and making it look like a painting, an illustration, or any other word or medium that doesn't exist yet. It doesn't matter. It's not about the process; it’s about the result."

This is my way to use photography too, it doesn't matter how I get there, what matter is the result, how people react seeing my images.

A volte non bisogna prendersi troppo sul serio, mi piace ricercare paesaggi strani, fantastici, a volte inquietanti, forme pittoriche, colori, cieli; altre volte mi accontento della semplicità della natura, faccio quello che mi piace, mai quello che spero piaccia ad altri. Non ho preclusioni per alcuna tecnica che ritengo debba essere serva dell'arte e non viceversa. Non sono d'accordo con quelli che ritengono che ci si debba fermare ai limiti di quanto permesso dalla fotocamera, ma rispetto le opinioni di tutti. Sono nato nell'era dell'analogico, ed oggi che posso accedere alla potenza dell'elaborazione digitale, finalmente mi sento pienamente libero di esprimere la mia creatività senza i limiti imposti dalle vecchie tecnologie.
