I am interested in photography since I was 15. I started with old-style SLRs, worked in the darkroom (b&w), but dropped it after I started to work (not enough time). Since the upcoming of digital cameras and the whole image processing thing I restarted with great pleasure. I take pictures whenever I can, normally I do not use flash, post processing etc.

I speak German, English and French.

If you have any suggestions for my pictures, do not hesitate to tell me. No need for too much "Kuschelfaktor" (an untranslatable German expression, standing for the habit to find always something positive to say, even if there is no reason). If it is shit and if you don't like a picture, feel free to say so. I am out of Kindergarten and I can support some critical remarks. If it gets too much I have a wife to comfort me 8-).

Generally I only fav the pictures I like, I rarely comment on pictures because I do not want to give the same comment a thousand times ("Nice composition, nice colours"). Many pictures talk directly to me - no need to spoil the visual conversation by using words and sentences.

I (mostly) do not fav pictures I cannot download in screen resolution - I think flickr is for exchange and not for keeping it hidden somewhere. I personally use most of my favs as a wallpaper on my PCs for my own pleasure. They make life more beautiful 8-;

Please do not invite me to groups with mandatory favs and comments - the pictures in these groups rarely deserve it.

If you want to use my pics please drop me a line. Here I post only with lower resolution and quality - I do not want to spread the originals.
