Without irony or pretension:

I'm a musician at heart. That or a philosopher, but my philosophy would be that everyone philosophises, defeating the purpose of the title; suffice it to say, I'm human.

I play drums and percussion, and know my way around a fretboard and a keyboard a bit too. Music's my heart's desire.

So how much of this has to do with photography? Well, all of it.

Beauty is what has always screamed out 'God' to the philosopher in me, and to be able to capture that, treasure it, share, recount and remember it has to be the most miraculous ability of our times.

My love of music comes from that place, and it's no big step from sound waves to light waves, and it's not difficult to appreciate one's magnificence if you appreciate the other's.

With that in mind, and a desire to try creating something new, I took the plunge on a DSLR. From here on out, this is me learning to capture beauty and share it with all of you.
