I got the photo bug a very early age. I remember my first camera a Kodak Instamatic 124 that I saved for and bought at a pawn shop when I was 10. I wish I still had those negatives. Got my first 35mm in 1971, a A Praktica SLR fully manual with solar-powered light meter. It had screw on lens which made for awkward lens changes. I started to develop and print my own then. Finally got the Canon AE1 and better lens. Then progressed to a EOS 650 and a Pentax 6x7. Needless to say I have thousands of negs and slides in binders and boxes. I bought my first digital in 1999/2000 a Sony Mavica MVC-FD88 1.2mp which cost more then my current EOS 60D.

I enjoy sharing my photos, nature in particular. Just joined and I'm amazed at all the great images that are here. Lots of rules in some of the groups. A person can spend all their time just looking at images
