Describe myself... hmmm... that's hard! I'm quite a complex person! Hahaha!

Let's start with the basics. I lived in Ruurlo with my parents and my brother most of my life and I must say, it's a nice place to live. Since October 2006 I've got my own place in Borculo. Also a nice place to live, I think. :)

I work for Holland Pharma in Borculo and I spend quite a lot of my time there (like most working people spend quite a lot of time at their work) but that's okay! I enjoy working with the people there so... No that's no problem! I am still looking for a job in wellfare but haven't been able to find one yet. So for the time being I'm happy at Holland Pharma and it brings food on the table and pays the rent. :)

As far as sports go I'm totally hooked on handball. You will hardly ever catch me planning anything on Tuesday evenings or on Sundays. Those are my handball times during the season!

Besides handball and work I enjoy many things. I don't get bored easily. I love hanging out with my friends but also being on my own and reading a book or watching a film. Babysitting gives me great pleasure because I love the way kids are so free in what they do. When I have a "down day" they can normally cheer me up very easily. I also like editing my own webpage and taking photographs. I drag my camera along every chance I get. Nothing professional though, just for fun.

Another adiction of mine is the UK... I've lived there for a year (2000-2001) and have been hooked on the country, the people and the language ever since. I love speaking English every chance I get and the books I read are hardly ever in Dutch but nearly always in English.

Personality-wise I'm always more than happy to listen to other people's sob stories. I'll help them out where and whenever I can without thinking twice. I'd move mountains if I could for people I love and care about. But I hardly ever talk about my own so called problems or seek help from others - a bit closed on that front - I am working on it though! ;-). I consider it an honor when people take confidence in me and tell me what's on their mind.

I'm very stuborn at times and am firm about what I believe in. I hate dishonesty and people who think they are better than others. I'm a family-person and I consider my friends to be part of my family as well. They are important to me.

People say I'm loyal and creative but I'm also a perfectionist. They also tend to say I come across as being confident but then again not everything is what it seems! I don't think I've ever met someone who isn't insecure about one thing or another. And there's nothing wrong with that I guess. Overall I'm happy with my life as it is and I suppose that's what people around me see as coming across confident.
