I guess it's time to update this info. I am still living in Oregon but somethings have changed while others stayed the same. I am still a student of photography which only means I like going back to the basic and reviewing the things I forget on a regular. I have learn to see better but not faster. I've learn to direct better but I still want to help develop the models style by letting them discover things on their own. I have meet many great photographers and models over the last 5 years. I am still a fan of others work but I have become more selective of the people I leave comments too now. I really hate to do that but somethings have become a fact of life. Last year I really cut back on getting out and getting my shoots in because the year before I got burnt out. I now am more selective about who I shot with and my no has become NO. I had a client tell me once to just shoot off a bunch of frames and capture us and my NO became HELL NO...lol I was about to come home and go thru 400 crappy photos to fine the one or two that came out well. So, I am just saying it's your shoot so control it in a way that you get the best possible shots.

Well about me I am living in Oregon but I call home Chicago. I am coming to photography late in life but not to taking photos. My first slr was when I was 12. Well it wasn't really mines just kind of took it over. My father wanted a nicer camera and just never learned how to use it. I taught myself how to take photos with it and cause he never got a flash for it I learned how to adjust the setting to get good photos in low lighting. The first time he saw photos I took with that camera he just gave it to me. So, off and on I have had a camera every since. I started coming across site like this aimed at photographers and photography and now it consumes me. I want to get better at it and I will. Just get so caught up at looking at good photos I don't take enough. However, I am inspired more and more so when I do shot I take more chances now which may not always come out right but I like that.
