My first experiences with photography date back to when I was about 6 or 7 taking photo's with a Kodak Instamatic 126 given to me by my uncle. From there I coveted the use of my dad's Minolta SRT101 when he would let me.

From then on I was hooked and saved up for me first proper camera the Olympus OM10 when I was about 12 or 13.

I replaced it with the Minolta X300 in the early 80's which took me through my teenage years and through art college. In my 20's I bought a Nikon F601 which has been my pride and joy.

My first insights into digital photography began 4 years ago with a Canon ixus and now I have the camera I had to wait to be manufactured in the Nikon D700.
