Photography started as a hobby for me, not a long time ago, when I discovered that not only do I enjoy exploring nature but I also like capturing its beauty and sharing it with others..

Soon after that, it transformed into a passion, which complimented perfectly my love for nature, and from there on they both went hand in hand.

I enjoy shooting mainly landscapes (mountains are my favorite subject), but from time to time I do like to play around with the macro world as well (which fascinates me quite a bit).

I am by any means an amateur photographer (self-taught), but I am continuously striving to became better. And for this, Flickr is just a huge inspirational source and also a learning asset - the quality of some of the people's work here on Flickr, is just amazing and this serves as a great motivation for me.
