I don't think I ever told you that your statement on a flower photo I took once that you commented on has changed the way I look at things around here, have I? Your statement was something to the effect of "seen it too many times", although you were kinder in your phrasing. I went on the offensive and told you there was not much here to look at, although not in those words. At any rate, I started looking at the way I photographed things, and decided to try new approaches to visualizing the end result, and became my own critic. As a result, I found different ways of seeing things. All because you took the time to let me know my standard was pretty 'ho-hum'. This is a good thing. Always in the back of my mind is "is this worth showing?" I still post things that I wish I could do better on. You just made me more aware that I should take that time. I want to thank you for that. I had never made Explore with my own photography before that. My photos are still not what I want them to be, but I think I am a little better at taking the shots because of your encouragement to do a little better :) So, thank you. For many reasons :)
