I picked up an SLR Camera for the first time in my life- a D50, and my life's been different ever since. I've been looking at the world through the viewfinder, noticing beauty and order much more than I used to.

I'm a total beginner to all this though, until recently, I still had trouble understanding what "aperture" is! Please critique my works and teach me how I could improve! :)

I'm an art enthusiast - especially music. Unfortunately, (my greatest regret) I'm not exceptionally good in any kind of art. Photography gives me an outlet to express what I consider interesting, beautiful, or extraoridnary. I photograph mostly things that matter to me. I truly believe that art, in any form, is a way to connect deeply with someone, either in the way of reaching out (exhibiting art), or reaching in (attempting to interpret, decipher what a person is like by their art).

I'm trying to get better at this craft, so that my art can touch someone's life, and so that I can understand some of you Flickrites on a deeper level.

The more I photograph, the more I'm amazed at my own eyes - the amount of information it can capture, through which so many decisions are made. I'm also stunned by how we innately recogize what's beautiful, especially things pertaining to the nature. We are indeed fearfully and wonderfully made.
