I design and make jewellery in my farmhouse workshop deep in the heart of the Welsh countryside.

My one-off pieces include artisan-made lampwork beads by British glass artists, as well as those made by lampworkers from further afield.

I also have a love of gemstones and pearls, and many of my pieces are, as a result, an amalgam of all these materials, as well as the best quality silver - Bali, Hilltribe, and sterling.

I have not met Nia in person yet but I feel I know her quite well as we share common interests: Artisan glass, vermeil and The Red Hot Chili Peppers! Nia's jewellery has a timeless elegance. She's got an artist's intuition for colour and proportion, a talent which is evident not only in the pieces she makes but also in her photographs. She is my inspiration when I'm stuck on a design or get too "comfortable". I make myself push my limits like she does. A lovely artist and friend (...did I mention her powers of detection?...)!
