Hey There!

My name is Davin Gegolick & I love photography! Whether I was playing around with my dad’s Canon Ftb or my very own Polaroid I-Zone, I’ve had a passion for photography at a very young age. When I treated myself to a DSLR in 2008 my hobby grew to a whole other level.

When I first started in photography, I primarily photographed landscapes & although I still love capturing the odd photo of the country side, I’ve been drawn to portrait photography. I have a fascination with the natural beauty of the human eye & how it draws in the viewer. I strive to capture the most natural images possible, using editing software to merely enhance the already natural beauty of my subjects.

I specialize in lifestyle and wedding photography and love the creative components and new challenges involved with turning life into art.

I use a Canon 5D Mkii, 5D Mkiii, and EOS R for professional work and a Fuji X100t for personal work

I'm also a full-time Planning & Development Officer and own my own coffee-roasting business, Black Stripe Coffee.
