Just got started in more serious astrophotography back in November 2019 after having been a casual observer, mainly of the moon and eclipses, for a few years. Bought a second hand HEQ5 tracking mount which happened to come with a SkyWatcher 200P Newtonian telescope, guide scope and camera, but I'm only really using my 500mm birding lens with a 2x teleconverter for my astro shots at the moment. Wanting to get into to Milky Way photography too but Covid-19 has put paid to that for a while as I need to travel to some good locations. So for now I'm just putting up some of my initial efforts as I climb the steep learning curve which is astrophotography.
