Achievements & Relative Experience:
I have 7 years experience practicing photography. In 2004 I was awarded the overall winner of "The National Tetley Tea Photographic competition 2003". The winning image was used in several food catering magazines around the country and featured in several newspapers such as the Evening News and The Scotsman.
I have been commissioned by - "The Forth Estuary Transport Authority", where I took several images for their website gallery. Other published work includes an image for "The Scots Magazine" for their article on the Forth Road Bridge's 40th year.
A more recent achievement was being runner-up in “The Scotsman” newspapers 1st major fringe festival photographic competition, with my image of the End of Festival Fireworks. Other achievements include being one of seven photographers to cover the "T-Break Showcases" as part of T in the park music festival 2005 and making the final 13 in my category (Scotland/Urban) for "A Digital Picture of Britain”, a competition run by the BBC last year.
Qualifications:
Advanced Diploma in Photography aquired at Stevenson College in Edinburgh. PQE or Professional Qualification Exam for the BIPP (British Institute of Professional Photography) to the level of Licentiate.
