The Georgia Center of Innovation for Aerospace acts as a catalyst, creating opportunities for Georgia aerospace companies and their suppliers to commercialize new products, services and business models by connecting them to new technologies, university research and development facilities, potential business collaborators and current industry information, and providing matching grants. The Center advances recognition of Georgia’s strength in the global aerospace industry, and contributes to the entrepreneurial and educational ecosystems required for its continued growth. It also strengthens Georgia’s aerospace/aviation education and training programs to meet current and projected industry workforce needs and helps efforts to coordinate state aerospace/aviation educational programs to provide a seamless state-wide “Virtual Aerospace Campus” resource for industry.
