I am gazi Saiful Islam poet, writer and translator of Bangladesh. I came off a farmer’s family, in an ancient village named Purannagar, in the district of Mymensingh. I have four brothers and four sisters. I am elder of them. I started my educational life in Bowla high school, Netrekona Government College. And lastly I earned my Master’s degree in Economics from Ananda Mohan University College, Mymensingh, which established-1908 by Ananda Mohan Bose(brother in law Sir Jagdish Chandra Bose). It’s one of the very famous Colleges in Bangladesh. Great poet and thinker Rabindranath Tagore came to visit this college 16 January 1926. It was a very important day in the history of Mymensingh.

I started writing and publishing short stories for nearly ten years. First short story collection published 2013. In the story case my language is very direct and vernacular. But in the case of poems, My language full of mystical and eloquent. In my poems human life is used as temporary as dews existence Or like a drops of rain. But my novels, as Dhakar Rat, Manoby Shawrgo have great details. My late mother Begum Jaigonnesa’s ideology is My life’s Ideology. My first written literary article was a poem named ‘My Country’ published first in a weekly Newspaper, named‘‘ Bangler Chashi’’ 1984. Later in 1986, dated 14 December, intellectuals martyrdom day I published a chora named, ‘shadhinota’ in the daily Azad’s Mukoler Mahfil. Now I am writing in the daily Newspapers’ weekly supplements and Literary Magazines of Bangladesh. I am mostly interested in the world literature & philosophy. Especially the philosophy of Hegel, Karl Marx, Albert Camus, Bertrand Resell and Jacques Derrida.
