I've been meaning to do this for awhile and there's no better time than the present, so here it is. I met Mr. G through the Baton Rouge Flickr group and I was fascinated by his artistry from the first time I saw his photostream. There is no doubt, he is an artist of the first class. He has a wonderful eye for detail and sees these amazing compositions where the rest of us just see stuff. It never ceases to amaze me that when we go shooting together and I come back to his stream I find all these beautiful and wonderful things I did not see in the field. Yet he always does. Besides all that, Mr. G is a great friend and a stand-up guy you can count on. He shares his knowledge and his art and I count myself lucky to have him as a friend.

Since then, I have continued to marvel at the beauty he manages to capture through his camera. Soon it will be my one year anniversary on Flicker. if not for the kind words and encouragement from Mr. Greenjeans in my early days, I might not be here today. He became a dear friend who made nice comments on some very bad pictures. I could always count on him to find something good to say. You can always count on him to have something interesting in his photo stream. A visit to Mr. Greenjean's house is always fun. There is the serious side and some truly moving images and there is the fun loving side that makes you laugh. He also loves to play with toys and has a really creative mind. Go and visit and you will find beauty, passion, creativity and laugh out loud fun. I am so glad that he is my friend.

Jeans, from the first time I saw your icon to the first few photos you posted, I knew I was seeing the work of someone special. Someone who was not only here to express himself through his photography, but to do it and have fun with a fantastic down to earth, devil may care sense of humor. I can look at Mr.G's work and see that he has a serious side, but it his everyday down home shots and dose of humor that keeps me coming back. After all....Laughter is the best medicine!
