Since you have taken the time to check out my profile I guess you would like to know something about me.

I’m a self-taught photographer who started taking pictures with a Nikon F50, this is nearly 15 years ago. After a few years the interest kind of faded, guess it was to expensive to process all the 35mm films, but after my daughter was born in 2005 I bought my first DSLR, a Nikon D80. Last year I upgraded to a Nikon D300s, but I hope that in the near future will have the funds to advance further to a full frame camera.

June 13th 2013, the near future has arrived, I ordered a Nikon D4 yesterday, looking forward to testing it next weekend!

As you can see from my photo stream I like to take pictures outside, and I especially fancy capturing the auroras during the dark season here! Aircrafts is also a favorite motive, luckily I live almost right under short final to the airport here in Bodø.

What I like about Flickr is that it gives me the opportunity to check out a lot of different pictures in varying styles and from that get inspiration on how to see new perspectives and ideas on testing new thing with the camera. If you find pictures in my photostream that is very like one of your own pictures, know this, I’ve done this because I admire your photo and that I have done this just to learn more.
