While in the service I purchased my first camera (Petri 7s) and began taking snapshots of all the places our unit visited. Most of my images, at that time were just that, snapshots. I never really became serious until after my discharge from the service. Photography became a means to an end, in as much it allowed a healthy means of expressing myself. I studied every photography book I could get my hands on and over the years photography has become my passion. I live in a State (Montana) which affords the outdoor photographer with many scenic images as well as a variety of wildlife choices.

The advent of digital photography has opened up an entire new field for me in the post processing department, I find myself editing each and every image to it's fullest possibility.

I'm new to flickr and have hopes of meeting photographers with similar interests. My interests are subjects found in the Out-of-doors, all types of landscapes, wildlife, waterfowl, flowers and summer through winter subjects.

I have never had an interest in selling my images. The process of producing and editing an image is for my pleasure alone and in the challenge of it' making. Sharing my images on Flickr are solely for the purpose of sharing one' love for the art of photography and viewing and learning new techniques for the production of one' passion..

My Wife and I presently reside in Stevensville, Montana which we have called home for many years. We have fallen in love with the Bitterroot Valley and the two major Mountain Ranges which encompass' the Valley....
