I like taking photographs. I'm not brilliant, but sometimes I get a good shot; most of the time by accident!

For several years I was using my trusty Samsung Digimax S800 - a great wee camera. Then I was on a Canon 400D - which is an even better camera. But now I'm working with a Canon 500D and finding out what it can do! There are also some iPhone shots - the best camera you have is the one you have with you at the time!

A friend recently likened my Flickr to a photo encyclopedia, because, as he says, 'no matter what you would be looking a photo of, Gary probably has it...' So if you have found what you're looking for, let me know! And if there's something or somewhere missing, then drop me an email!

I administer some groups, including:

About time i got round to this.. sorry it's late Rev! Gary's a top bloke with a wicked sense of humour and a passion for life. forever helping me with information i'm needing either for myself or for others, he's there with his excellent knowledge and friendship. very much appreciated so thank you muchly. Gary's photostream is full of variety. From B.C bins (love that shot!) to the churches he has visited, the scenery of N.Ireland, Dublin and beyond to his very own wedding (again congrats to you's both) You will find something in here that will grab your attention (and that's not to mention gary's legs and others while wearing their kilts!) Seriously tho, Gary, your photography has came on leaps and bounds since you upgraded to the canon and i look fwd to seeing more of your "life thru the lens" as i'm sure others are too.. Keep up the fabby work and being the true gent you are! jx

I love visiting Gary's photostream to see where he has been. It could be country churches, street scenes, where he studies etc.... he gives us all an insight into his life. He is a good contact too with relevant notes/comments. Keep it up Gary!
