If one night you happen to be drunk/high/having a breakdown/ just feeling melancholic/sad/ecstatic -legal or illegal causes- , you have one of 2 options! The first is to knock on this guy's door, hope he's not on some out of the moment road trip or sitting in some club chatting up the waitress ;), and that's he'll open the door, let you in or take you out for a nice chat that will leave you feeling you just met a blues musician meets a rock star meets the author of that book you snuck behind your parents' back when you were a teenager -no, he doesn't write for playboy, it's your parents who think books are work of the devil! "footloose anyone?!". Add some devilish angel in the recipe as well and you got him! Point is, you'll love this guy if you happen to have 2 cents worth of brain in that box over your neck or even less of a soul! Since a whole lot of us are not that privileged to do the previous, you can just click on that FF icon -IE sucks- , type flickr.com/garyisaacs in the address bar & let go of all the firewalls in your heart/brain! Mr Isaacs seems to understand intimately the skills of taking a photograph and the art of creating an image. Anyone can take a photo, most people can even take a good photo, but in my mind creating a great image is about using our photographic tools and skills to alter the strict 'reality' a camera is capable of recording into something which more resembles how we feel about what we see, rather than just reproducing what it is we see. That's what you'll find on this photstream. Damn high quality images. Stuff you can get your teeth into that'll actually make you think about what you are looking at, and what you feel about it.
