I'm an Ireland based photographer with predominant interest in Landscape. I mainly photograph alone, and use my photography as a release from a pretty hectic work and home life.

For me the 'being there' to experience beauty of the world is (almost) as important as getting the shot. There are very few things in the world that gives as much pleasure as standing on a deserted beach, lakeside or hilltop pre-sunrise and experiencing the start of a new day... It's where I find my 'peace'.

I have been working hard on introducing 'mood' in my shots for some time now, to try and evoke the emotions that I experience when out on a shoot... with varying degrees of success!

I also like to have a go at close up photography generally with a floral theme... again trying to capture 'mood'.

For those who know Ireland, I am based in Greystones and have the Wicklow coast and mountains on my doorstep which offer great photographic opportunity.

A busy life with a demanding job and small children means I struggle to get out much these days.. and struggle even further to get the shots edited and uploaded. However I do like to keep in touch with my contact's photostreams along the way.
