Hi, I'm a nature photographer based in Sydney Australia. I'm particularly interested in 'nature at the doorstep', the wildlife and habitats around our homes and cities. I am convinced that images are one of the most powerful ways of forging connections to nature and love photographing the poorly known inhabitants of of our shared spaces. I live within a short walk of the second oldest national park in the world, Royal National Park, and have spent most of my professional life working in conservation management and advocacy. Exploring a park with camera in hand is my happy space, and I really don't mind if the subject is a breaching whale or tiny fungi, it is all an endless fascination.
