I got my first camera in 1982. It was a Canon AE-1. I shot over 1,000 rolls of film with that camera, the last few hundred of my two boys playing various sports. My boys played for Hilliard Davidson, with one graduating in 2001 and the second in 2005. After they graduated, I continued to shoot the games from in front of the press box. I went a few years without a camera but soon purchased a Nikon D5600 and resumed taking pictures at the football games. I lived within walking distance to the field until 2022 and I rarely missed a home game. In the middle of the 2023 football season, I was given field access by Mr. Bobek and upon my retirement from the State of Ohio, I purchased more and better photography equipment. I expanded my photography to include Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys and Girls Lacrosse, Varsity Baseball, and a few wrestling matches. I take pictures to share with the players and their parents and friends.
