Photography and Licensing

He began his serious pursuit of photography in 2007, initially inspired by Flickr's "Explore" feature. Over the years, he has used a range of equipment, from DSLRs to smartphones, mirrorless systems, and compact cameras. In his early work he photographed anything that caught his interest, and takes a "Look what I found!" approach to sharing his work. In recent years he has concentrated more on street photography.

Very many of his photographs are available under the Creative Commons Attribution license, allowing others to use and share his work with proper credit. His more recent work is marked "All Rights Reserved" and require explicit permission for use.

Online Presence

He maintains an active online presence, sharing his photography and thoughts on platforms like Flickr, Bluesky, Mastodon, and Flickr, and the photography forums Focus on Photography and Talk Photography. His work continues to be a valuable resource for those interested in contemporary urban life and events in London. Wikipedia has used many of his photos for its articles, and his Creative Commons photos have appeared on thousands of web pages.
