My name is Garett Gabriel I'm an avid outdoorsman and naturalist currently residing in South Central Kansas. Since the age of 14 I had a passion to become an adventure photographer and travel the United States documenting wildlife in their natural habitat.

 

I've been immersed in photography for over 20 years. When I was 14 my father gave me my 1st real camera, it was an old Canon AE-1 with 3 different lenses, a bag and a flash. I remember trying to read up on and figure out all the meters, manual camera settings, manual lens settings, film .. etc etc and try to get a good shot of something ..... anything. In a day when there was no digital, no computer work, no software processing / enhancing, no special effects and 'real' film I got quite an education.

 

Over the last 7 years I did a lot of filming, photography and outdoor writing for various outdoor sport organizations and programs. It has been a wonderful experience and one that I still enjoy today. I hope to continue to work with the folks that have given me this opportunity as well as develop new relationships along the way.

After all these years it's still my passion and I’m ready to follow it no matter where it leads me …… It’s an adventure in itself and only God knows outcome. Pictures are the words that tell Gods story about the world he created. Sharing this story with people for years to come is a blessing and privilege.
