Art is an extension of our culture and our communities and in many ways art defines our times. Art is not a luxury it is a necessity. My mission is to foster innovative artistic expression and provide sanctuary for the creative process while stressing the importance of it.

Gallery Heist will be a place for artists to gain exposure and develop their careers while encouraging freedom and experimentation in their work and artistic ideas. The walls of Heist will house work that is representational to this generation offering a contemporary program of artists who challenge and analyze our social and cultural responsibility, traditions, and behaviors; artists who are on the forefront of a conscious art movement.

Our exhibitions are designed with the viewer and artist both in mind. While we encourage our artists to stay true to the integrity of their work, we also challenge them to create and include aspects of instillation that engage the viewer. The goal is to provide as many opportunities to connect with the work as possible and in turn nurture and cultivate an understanding of the work that goes beyond esthetic appreciation.

In an effort to encourage and support this conscious art movement, I have opened Heist, and hope that you will choose to be a part of it.
