Entering Gali's stream means to enter a world made of light, shapes, street life, thin women and intense men. A world in which sense, sensitivity and sensuality are in a just perfect harmony: sometimes one prevails, sometimes the other one, and some other times they are just totally mixed. After some years spent observing and enjoying Gali's stream, I now can say that she's definitely one of the best photographers around.

I first met Gali in a Flickr walk I organized. This enabled me to see that this talented and original photographer I was conversing with on Flickr was also a perpetually smiling, mild mannered, soft spoken, lovely woman. You gotta like her. There's no other possibility. Since then I met her again, and became convinced that Gali is a true artist. She uses her camera like an extra eye, not like a weapon- the way some photographers do. Gali doesn't shoot, she captures. There is nothing violent or intrusive in her photography. She just opens a way for people and objects to come into her world.
