My name is Gerda, and I think I've LOVED photography since I was in my first year of High School, but you know one of those questions that teachers ask "what would you like to be when you grow up" and you know one of those kids that say "photography?!?! What will you do with that!!" So I guess I never picked up a camera until about 4 years ago when I had my first child! She inspired me to take better pictures.

I love everything about photography, especially taking pictures of people and that special moment. ESPECIALLY taking pictures of kids, they are truly the ones that bring out real life and emotion to a picture!!
